BOSTON, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The Colony Group, LLC announced the admission of Scott A. Swartz, CFP®, as a Partner. With his admission, Mr. Swartz joins a senior management team that includes 20 Partners.

Mr. Swartz is a Senior Financial Counselor at The Colony Group. He earned an MBA degree, with a concentration in finance, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA degree from Bowdoin College.

Mr. Swartz holds the Certified Financial Planner® designation. He counsels high net worth individuals and executives of The Colony Group's corporate clients on investment decisions, wealth diversification strategies, and risk management. He also provides tax planning and compliance services as part of the implementation of his clients' comprehensive wealth management plans.

Prior to joining The Colony Group, Mr. Swartz was employed by the international communications firm Videocom, Inc., where he was responsible for the delivery of client projects and operations. Prior to his time at Videocom, he was a Consultant for SRA International, Inc., where he was responsible for project management and client communications. Mr. Swartz currently serves on the Board of the Walter Trumbell Scholarship Fund.
