HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Patrick Stewart, best known for his work as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Paramount Television's long-running syndicated drama series "The Next Generation," as well as his work in the Star Trek feature films and in blockbuster films such as "The X-Men" and "X-Men 2" will guest star as a "potential" love interest for Frasier Crane. The episode entitled "The Doctor is Out" will air on Tuesday, September 30 on NBC. Frasier admires Alistair immensely and would do almost anything to know him. Meanwhile, Frasier ducks into a local gay bar in an effort to determine if Roz's new boyfriend is gay and after being spotted, is "outed" on his radio show. Alistair learns of Frasier's humiliation and, having been in a similar situation, comforts him after running into him in Cafe Nervosa. Frasier, so impressed by Alastair, continues a close friendship with him living out his dream of being one half of a major "power couple" even though Alastair's feelings for him have become more than just friends.
