Fifth Consecutive Nomination For Both Outstanding Informative Talk Show and Outstanding Talk Show Host

NEW YORK, May 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the three-time Emmy® award-winning, critically-acclaimed and nationally-syndicated The Dr. Oz Show received its fifth nomination for Outstanding Informative Talk Show, host Dr. Mehmet Oz received his fifth nomination for Outstanding Talk Show Host and Director Scot Titelbaum and Associate Director Debra Mackrell received their first nomination for Outstanding Directing in a Talk Show as announced for the 41st Annual Daytime Emmy® awards. This is the fifth consecutive nomination in each category for Dr. Oz and The Dr. Oz Show production team led by executive producers, Mindy Borman and Amy Chiaro.
Now in its fifth season and with over 800 episodes created, The Dr. Oz Show has changed millions of lives as a leader in health and wellness and continues to rank consistently in the top four shows nationally among its competitors. Under the direction of Borman and Chiaro, The Dr. Oz Show debuted in 2009 with the highest-rated syndication launch in over a decade.
