The Founder Institute Launches New York and Silicon Valley Semesters

Program on Pace to Graduate Over 300 Companies Annually

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Founder Institute (www.FounderInstitute.com), a four month executive training program for technology entrepreneurs, is launching two new semesters in New York City and Silicon Valley today. With the addition of New York City, the Institute now operates in five cities and is on pace for an annual graduation rate of over 300 companies. Semesters in Washington DC and Seattle are currently accepting applications for sessions that start in December, and the semester in San Diego/Orange County started sessions earlier this week.

"The launch of New York puts the Institute on track to launch nearly ten times more companies than any similar program or incubator," says Adeo Ressi, Founding Member of TheFunded.com and the Founder Institute. "People from Boston to Canada have already expressed interest in joining the New York session, and Mentors are traveling around the country to train entrepreneurs from Washington DC to Silicon Valley. The unique model of sharing equity upside among all of the program stakeholders has created demand for the program all around the world."

The Founder Institute creates an environment where established Founders and CEOs (http://founderinstitute.com/information/mentors?target=6) mentor their peers in weekly training sessions on company-building topics. Program participants also enjoy discounted services from Institute Partners and a teamwork-oriented startup environment where equity is shared among all participants in the companies formed.

"This program is great for the New York City startup ecosystem," says Nate Westheimer, Executive Director of the New York Tech Meetup.
