The 16th China-Shanghai International Wedding Photographic Exhibition & International Children's Photography, Theme Photography Exhibition

SHANGHAI, June 22 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- The 16th China-Shanghai International Wedding Photographic Exhibition & International Children's Photography, Theme Photography Exhibition, globally, one of the largest wedding photographic exhibitions, will be held from July 2 to 5 in three venues: INTEX Shanghai (77, Xingyi Rd., Shanghai), Shanghaimart (99, Xingyi Rd., Shanghai), and Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Centre (88, Caobao Rd).

With three venues running at the same time, the total exhibition area will reach 70,000 square meters. More than 500 manufacturers from China, Italy, the United States, Britain, France, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Taiwan will showcase products and services covering every aspect of the wedding photography industry, including photographic equipment from photo studios, digital printing equipment, background & props from photo studios, themed photography, post-production, space & window dressing and furniture from photo studios, wedding dresses, photo albums & frames, children's clothes, make-up & accessories, training at photography studios, etc.

According to statistical data, there are about 10 million pairs of young couples get married in China every year, and China's composite wedding consumption is expected to see hundreds of billion yuan by the year 2010, representing a prospect that cannot be underestimated. Although the financial crisis may has imposed an impact on many couples' concept of wedding consumption, it will not block the wedding market blowout expected to happen in 2009-2010 thanks to the new vitality injected by the post-Olympic economy. Besides, with the changing concept of marriage, people in Shanghai also change their traditional thought of "never marrying in the hot summer", which could be testified by the information offered by Shanghai Wedding Trade Association that this year's summer witnessed a 20% increase in the wedding market, a big unusual phenomenon compared with the traditional "aestivation period" in June and July. Organizers of the Exhibition have worked out an effective layout for the display of various exhibits in the three venues. INTEX Shanghai will display wedding dresses on its first floor; children's photography, children's clothes, backgrounds & props on the second floor. Shanghaimart will display photo albums & frames on its first floor; model racks of photography studios on the second floor; make-up from photography studios, accessories, wedding dresses on the third floor; special wedding dresses on the fourth floor; wedding dress shows on the seventh floor. Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Centre will display photographic equipment, output devices, background & props on the first floor of its West Hall; themed photography on the third floor of its West Hall; consulting & training, furniture, space & window dressing of photo studios, themed photography, etc. on the first floor of its East Hall. In order to provide visitors with the best access to this big event of the wedding photography industry, the organizers also specially arranged more than 20 air-conditioned buses for the travel of visitors among Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center, Hongqiao Shanghaimart, and INTEX Shanghai.
