NEW YORK, Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Cher will continue her triumphant world
concert tour into March of 2000 with twenty additional dates spanning North
America. They include stops in Los Angeles, Miami, Boston, Washington, D.C.,
Phoenix, Toronto and Las Vegas as part of the final leg of her Do You Believe
 Tour? that began last spring.
"After travelling all over the world I really wanted to end my tour at
 home," Cher stated.
Critical raves have accompanied the Believe tour experience, which made
history as one of the most eye-popping, entertaining and artistically
accomplished productions in musical memory. It culminated with the highly
rated HBO Special live from Las Vegas. The New York Times' Ann Powers called
it "a quintessential rock voice ... spectacularly styled with a rough and
tumble vaudevillian edge." Richard Harrington in the Washington Post called
it "a dynamic, over-the-top extravaganza," while Mario Tarradell writing in
The Dallas Morning News stated, "her concert was entertaining and gleefully
glitzy." Deborah Wilker in The Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel pithily summed it
 up as "a 'Cher' delight."
The tour kicked off more than six months ago and has played standing-room-
only, dazzling close to one million fans. Believe is the most successful
album and single in Cher's 35-year career, having sold over 10 million CD's
 worldwide to date.
