First Episode Debuts February 16th

NEW YORK, Feb. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- OurStage.com, the premier digital music destination for unsigned artists, will unveil Season 2 of their original music competition web series, The OurStage Panel on February 16th.  Located at http://panel.ourstage.com, the series is the first of its kind to give top-ranked independent artists the opportunity to hear authentic feedback, in front of a live audience, from music industry heavyweights, a process that is normally done behind the scenes. Acclaimed singer/songwriter, Gavin DeGraw will also appear on the first four episodes as a guest judge. 

On The OurStage Panel, sixteen OurStage artists have an original song featured each week in groups of four during the month-long web series.  The winner of each episode advances to the series' finale, to be filmed during the OurStage.com official party at SXSW 2012. Their live performance will determine which musical act receives $5,000, a professionally produced video interview/EPK shot by Emmy award-winning Director/Producer Mitchell Stuart and HQ Productions, a mentoring session with Panel judges and a mentoring session with a senior music licensing expert.

The panel of judges includes Bruce Tyler (Executive Producer/Former Executive VP of Sony Music), Lee Dannay (Warner/Chappell Vice President of A&R), Scott Igoe (Jimmy Kimmel Live! Music Producer) and Sharon Dastur (Program Director Z100/NYC).  Z100 late night jock, Trey Morgan serves as the show's host alongside Carla Marie, producer for Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.
