The database includes more than 2,500,000 plan results compiled in yearly, color coded, comparative data reports and targets fund growth with a rating system developed by Retirement Plan expert David J. Tananbaum. The database is updated each month from Department of Labor and IRS official data and has Beginner and Advanced Modes.

In addition, the Pension Inspector launches an economy, "On Demand" download service with includes the most current 2 year data.

The "On Demand" Download service is available in two modes: PDF, as well as Comma Delimited text download files types. All State data is separated into small plans (1-100 participants) and large Plan data (101 or more participants).
