The Race For The 2014 Youthees Awards Has Begun
MONTCLAIR, N.J., March 14, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The search for the best youth athletes to compete for the 2014 Youthees Awards has begun! The prestigious Youthee is America's top youth sports award started by Youth1 Media in 2012 to honor excellence in sport, community initiative, teamwork, and love of the game.
The Youthees Awards, now in its third year, has become THE ultimate recognition of individual and team athletic achievement and other sports-related performance in youth athletics. This is a key segment of the sports world, boasting 70 million youth athletes, and Youth1 Media aims at commending those achieving excellence. The Youthees Award is an accolade that builds on the company's main offering, it's website, Youth1.com, which highlights every day achievements of youth athletes, offering breaking news, feature stories and rankings of the top athletes, teams and events in the nation across all major sports.
Laura Petrillo, President of Youth 1 Media adds, "The Youthee is a hallmark that a particular youth athlete is something special. It is the highest honor that Youth1 can bestow to acknowledge an athlete or contributor's outstanding ability and commitment in his pursuit of excellence in this segment."
The first Youthees were awarded in five categories (Male & Female Athlete of the Year, Team of the Year, Coach of the Year and Story of the Year) capturing the attention of the most passionate fan base in the country from coast to coast. The award has been expanded to 15 categories to recognize the achievements of athletes in all major sports.
