Travel Channel kicks off the week with the world premiere of NEW YORK'S
TOP TEN ATTRACTIONS -- Monday, September 8 at 8 PM (ET). From the "crossroads
of the world," to the home of the world's most expensive clock, New York
Knicks guard, Allan Houston counts down to the number one tourist destination.
And the New York thrills don't stop with fancy clocks. On Wednesday at 8
PM (ET), the Travel Channel shares its soft side for the men and women who
keep the city safe, tame troubled tourists and still find time to share the
secret to scoring the best theatre tickets in town in the world premiere of
NYPD'S NEW YORK.
Then on Thursday at 8 PM (ET), the Travel Channel serves up a musical
cocktail for all with the world premiere of AMERICA'S VOICES: CELEBRATING
LIFE -- complete with the sweet gospel and hip hop-infused sounds of Queens'
own Calvary Baptist Church; a red, white & blue serenade from the United
States Marine Band; the bluegrass beats of Tony Ellis & the Musicians of
Braeburn; and the melodies of the Singing Firemen performing straight from
their hometown firehouse.
Viewers can catch special New York programming on the Travel Channel every
night at 8 PM (ET) beginning Sunday, September 7 through Friday, September 12.
