The University of the District of Columbia to Hold an `Open House' On Saturday, June 20, 1998, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
WASHINGTON, June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The University of the District of
Columbia will hold an "OPEN HOUSE" to recruit new students on Saturday, June
20, 1998, from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., at 4200 Connecticut Avenue, N.W. The
"OPEN HOUSE" is also designed to showcase the University's more than 75
academic programs offered, as well as to accept applications for admission and
to explain the many financial aid programs offered.
A lucky winner at the "OPEN HOUSE" will win a fully paid tuition stipend
for the 1998 Fall Semester, for up to 12 semester credits. In addition, the
$20.00 Application Fee will be waived for the first 50 "early bird" persons
who apply for admission between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
The "OPEN HOUSE" will feature tours of the University's physical plant and
facilities, will afford participants to interact with some of the University's
distinguished faculty, and will provide day care services for parents. There
will also be refreshments for everyone in attendance.
