Theme Announced for 2008 Northwest Flower & Garden Show
20th Annual Flower & Garden Show will Inspire Northwesterners to 'Live
Beautifully. Live Outdoors.'
SEATTLE, July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Ballard-based Salmon Bay Events,
organizers of North America's third-largest flower and garden show, today
announced initial details on the 20th annual Northwest Flower & Garden Show
(http://www.gardenshow.com).
"Today's most important gardening trend is that more and more people
are coming to view their gardening areas, including yards and decks, as a
vital living spaces," said Duane Kelly, chairman and founder of Salmon Bay
Events. "With this in-mind, we chose a theme that reflects that growing
movement -- Live Beautifully. Live Outdoors."
The annual event, that showcases 25 full-scale gardens and attracts
60,000 - 80,000 attendees, will provide current and aspiring gardeners with
six acres of useful ideas, information and materials to create or
rejuvenate any Northwest garden so they too can live beautifully in their
outdoor oasis.
