WATERBURY, Conn., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Therap Services, in
association with the Division of Developmental Disabilities Services
(DDDS), State of Delaware, is hosting a conference for Therap users in
Delaware. Attendees will include staff from Provider Agencies and DDDS. The
conference will be held on November 15, 2007 at Sheraton Dover Hotel,
 Dover, DE.
"We are excited to host this conference along with the Division of
Developmental Disabilities Services," said Justin Brockie, Director of
Customer Support and Training, Therap Services. "This conference provides
an ideal platform for all users of Delaware to understand and learn more
 about Therap applications."
"We have found Therap a great asset in quickly communicating incident
reports to all members of the Interdisciplinary Teams without the desk-to-
desk, paper-shuffling slowness of the past. Data entry has been speeded-up
immeasurably, and the Therap system offers us the great benefit of helping
us quickly analyze trends and identify issues. With Therap Services, this
Division finally has the ability to address a number of federal assurances
in the areas of health, safety, and provider qualifications. For all its
benefits now, the fact is we have just begun to explore the vast potential
of this great system," said Scott Phillips, Director Office of Quality
 Management, DDDS.
Users from Delaware State and Provider Agencies will have hands on
training and discussion on Therap applications. Topics will cover
application modules including Release 7.1 of Therap, incident reports and
Therap's training management system. In addition, there will be discussion
of specific policies relating to submitting incidents and communicating
 with DDDS.
