ATLANTA, Nov. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Cassius F. Butts, Regional Administrator, U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will present programs and services the SBA has to offer to assist entrepreneurs from start-up to small business growth. The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Georgia State University (SBA resource partner), is hosting a special event tomorrow at The Commerce Club, downtown Atlanta, which will feature actress and entrepreneur Kim Fields as she talks about her experiences as a true entrepreneur. "The SBA has recently witnessed a 19% increase in loans to women entrepreneurs across the nation. Events such as this allow a first-hand testimony of how challenging it is to balance work and family life and continue to grow as a small business. The SBA has many resources available to women entrepreneurs to assist them every step of the way," says Cassius F. Butts, SBA Regional Administrator.
Kim Fields is the newest member of the cast for the Real Housewives of Atlanta this season. As she is filming the reality show, she is also balancing her family and entrepreneurial lives. Kim will discuss how she continually works to grow her brand as a woman in business. Between creating the holiday entertainment brand Holiday Love, directing well-known shows including "Kenan & Kel", Tyler Perry's "House of Payne" and "Meet The Browns" and launching her own entertainment networks, she continues to succeed. Kim will share how she is able to grow as an entrepreneur with assistance from resources such as the SBA and the SBDC while she successfully wears many other hats.
