Thomas M. Rohrs Elected to Advanced Energy Board of Directors

    FORT COLLINS, Colo., May 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Advanced Energy
 Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq:   AEIS) today announced that Thomas M. Rohrs was
 elected by the stockholders as a new director on May 24, 2006. Mr. Rohrs is
 currently chairman and chief executive officer of Electroglas, Inc., a
 supplier of wafer probing technologies to the semiconductor industry, a
 position he has held since April 7, 2006.
