SEATTLE, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Farmers Life Insurance Company President and CEO Thomas White announced today the appointment of Rion Groves from Executive Director of Life Marketing to Vice President, Life Marketing.

Mr. Groves began his career with Farmers in May 1980 as a Sales Trainee. He has held numerous positions with increasing responsibilities in sales and marketing including: Division Agency Manager, Regional Sales Education Manager, Regional Agency and Sales Manager, AVP of Market Development, and recently, he was the Executive Director for the State of Colorado before becoming Executive Director of Life Marketing.

Mr. Groves is an active volunteer for the annual March of Dimes campaigns and  was awarded the Volunteer of the Year.

He earned a Bachelor's degree from Portland State University and has completed Graduate studies in Business at the University of Puget Sound.  He also holds the FINRA series 6, 26 and 63 licenses.

Mr. Groves resides with his family in Snoqualmie, Washington.
