Three-Five Systems Receives ISO 13485:2003 Certification for Redmond, Washington Facility

    REDMOND, Wash., Jan. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Three-Five Systems, Inc.
 (NYSE:   TFS) a global provider of electronic manufacturing services (EMS),
 announced that its Redmond, Washington, U.S.A. facility has achieved ISO
 13485:2003 certification from TUV America, Inc.  TUV America Inc., Management
 Service Division, is an internationally recognized provider of certification
 services as a leading ISO Registrar in North America, Asia and Europe.  With
 this certification, TFS is positioned to expand its product offerings beyond
 the current level of components to finished medical devices.

     ISO 13485:2003 addresses the establishment of a quality system focused on
 medical devices.  The Redmond, Washington facility is one of TFS' four
 international manufacturing locations, and the first to receive this
 certification.  While no current schedule has been defined, the company
 indicated that its Penang, Malaysia location may also seek ISO 13485:2003 in
 the future.
