TopSchool's APSCU Session Helps Colleges Use Student Profiles to Drive Recruitment, Retention and Student Success
Learn Seven Steps to Better Understanding and Supporting Students
DENVER, May 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- TopSchool, a leading SaaS provider of Student Lifecycle Management (SLM) solutions for higher education, will be leading a session at this year's APSCU Annual Convention, helping attendees understand and embrace the power of student profiles. Justin McMorrow, TopSchool's Chief Customer Officer, will give attendees the insight and tools to better leverage student data in order to drive stronger recruitment, higher retention and increased student success.
"Colleges and universities today are under more pressure than ever to make sure they enroll the right students in the right programs, and that these students stay engaged through graduation," said McMorrow. "Institutions need to know more about the students they are targeting and serving so they make sure that a student who is likely to succeed actually does – student profiles will help them accomplish this objective."
McMorrow will lead attendees through the seven steps of building, monitoring and updating student profiles in order to identify students' needs and demands early on and develop recruitment and retention strategies that will help students succeed. Attendees will learn which key data points they should track so they are better prepared to make informed decisions about their programs and students.
McMorrow has presented on the topic of student profiles at several industry events, including a number of state based career and proprietary college conferences, such as New York (APC), California (CAPPS) and as the keynote presenter at Minnesota (MCCA). Throughout his career, he has worked closely with leaders and CEOs of some of the largest publicly traded career colleges to build and grow successful programs. McMorrow co-founded TopSchool and previously served in a number of executive roles at eCollege.
McMorrow's session, "Using Student Profiles to Recruit, Retain and Increase Student Success" takes place on Monday, June 6th at 2:15 p.m. The 2011 APSCU Annual Convention is being held at The Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, TX. Attendees can stop by TopSchool's booth #705 to learn more about its SLM solution, including CRM for Marketing and Admissions, the Career Services module and mobile applications, as well as enter for a chance to win an iPad.
