acquired World Hum, a leading online travel magazine. As part of the
acquisition, visitors to TravelChannel.com will be able to access exclusive
content written by World Hum's editors and network of contributors. In
addition to the content available on TravelChannel.com, loyal World Hum
visitors can continue to access the online magazine's full content at
www.worldhum.com.
Experienced travel writers and founding editors of World Hum, Jim
Benning and Michael Yessis, will become regular contributors to
TravelChannel.com as a result of the acquisition. Jim Benning has written
for outlets including National Geographic Adventure, National Geographic
Traveler, Outside, the Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times Magazine,
among other publications. Michael Yessis has worked as an editor at Men's
Fitness, Men's Journal and Journey magazines, and as the Destinations
