PITTSBURGH, July 9 /PRNewswire/ -- The flavors and aromas of Asia have landed at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT). BAA Pittsburgh, developer of the award-winning AIRMALL(R) at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT), is pleased to welcome Rice & Noodle (approximately 709 sq. ft.), located in the center core of the airside terminal. The new restaurant opened on July 8, 2009.

"The opening of Rice & Noodle at the AIRMALL(R) continues BAA Pittsburgh's commitment to offering travelers a range of convenient and affordable dining options," said Jay Kruisselbrink, vice president of development for BAA Pittsburgh. "Like all of the food, beverage and retail selections at the AIRMALL(R), Rice & Noodle's tasty Asian cuisine will be offered at 'Regular Mall Prices... Guaranteed.'"

The restaurant will serve favorites from across Asia, including a selection of hand-rolled sushi and Japanese-style noodle soups, along with Chinese classics such as General Tso's chicken, wonton soup and fried rice.

Rice & Noodle is locally owned and operated as part of the federal Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) program.

The restaurant is open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday through Friday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
