Houk and Scott Named Division Presidents

BEACHWOOD, Ohio, March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Construction products manufacturer Tremco Incorporated announced today that it has appointed Randall J. Korach as president and chief operating officer, Charles O. Houk as division president of Tremco Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing, and Moorman L. Scott, Jr. as division president of The Euclid Chemical Company.

During his 12-year career with the company, Korach has held various operational and management positions. He most recently served as president of Tremco's Global Sealants Division, a post he held for three years. Korach serves on the executive committee of the board of trustees of the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland; the executive board of the Boy Scouts of America, Greater Cleveland Council; as a trustee for Menorah Park, Center for Senior Living; on the national young leadership cabinet of the United Jewish Communities and the leadership council of the Ahuja Medical Center of University Hospitals of Cleveland. He is a graduate of Colby College, the Harvard Business School's general manager program, the Leadership Cleveland Class of 2006 and Cleveland Bridge Builders Class of 2004. He resides in Shaker Heights, Ohio with his wife and two children.

Houk was promoted from his position as vice president and general manager of Tremco Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing, which he held since 2004. He joined Tremco in 1986 as a technical service representative and has held various sales and marketing positions of increasing responsibility during his 23-year career with the company. Houk graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a minor in economics. He completed the Harvard Business School's general manager program in 2004. Houk, his wife and three sons live in Broadview Heights, Ohio.

Scott, who joined Euclid Chemical in 1984, has held various marketing and engineering positions with the company and most recently served as executive vice president since 1997. Prior to joining the company, Scott was with Master Builders, M.L. Scott & Sons and Jones & Laughlin Steel. His civic involvement includes board positions with Parma Heights Baptist Church, the Center for Community Solutions and the Cleveland City Mission. A licensed engineer, Scott earned bachelor's degrees from Cleveland State University and Taylor University and a master of business administration degree from Baldwin-Wallace College. He also completed a strategy course on competitive advantage from Harvard Business School. Scott and his wife reside in Cleveland, Ohio. They have three children.
