Tribal DDB Names U.S. Co-Presidents
New Team to Manage Agency Growth and Clients' Aggressive 2010 Plans
NEW YORK, Nov. 24 /PRNewswire/ --Tribal DDB Worldwide Chief Executive Officer Paul Gunning announced today the appointment of a new U.S. management team to oversee the growth and expansion of Tribal DDB in the region.
Mike Parker rejoins Tribal DDB as Co-President, after working at Betawave and Goodby, Silverstein and Partners, sharing responsibilities with Richard Guest, who has held the post of Managing Director of Tribal DDB NY since 2006.
"As digital communications have become the focus of our customers' needs, Tribal DDB has been a leader in innovation, helping to shape the modern communications funnel. With Mike and Rich at the top of our U.S. organization, our clients will see great benefit, positioning Tribal DDB for further growth and leadership," Gunning said.
Tribal DDB's U.S. network consists of five full-service offices in Chicago, Dallas, New York, San Francisco and Seattle, and two satellite offices in Los Angeles and Miami. Parker will be based in San Francisco and Guest in New York.
"I was a part of Tribal DDB at its inception, when it was given the charge to bring humanity and creativity to the digital age. I am very excited to return now with the opportunity to harness the speed and change of our digital world, better connect customers with brands, and partner with Paul and Rich to make it all happen," Parker said.
Tribal DDB U.S. added significant new clients and assignments to its roster in 2009, among them AT&T, Atigeo, CIBA Vision, Lutron, and Johnson & Johnson medical device brands, -- helping to necessitate this significant management enhancement.
Added Guest: "As much as technology has changed the art and science of advertising over the past 18 months, it has also changed the expectations that clients have of Tribal DDB and the nature of our relationships. Our digital engagements are more strategically driven than before, and our lead-agency engagements require us to have relationships that are more broad, deep and senior. I am looking forward to working with Paul and Mike to ensure that Tribal DDB exceeds these changing expectations and that the agency thrives in these new relationships."
