TripAdvisor Acquires Tripbod
NEWTON, Mass., May 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- TripAdvisor®, the world's largest travel site*, today announced it has acquired London-based Tripbod, a travel community that helps connect travelers to local experts and, in doing so, is able to deliver to travelers relevant recommendations direct from a local expert. Tripbod employees will operate out of the TripAdvisor London office.

Terms of the acquisition will not be disclosed.
