TriServ Likely to Protest Decision
ATLANTA, July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The Department of Defense has selected United Health Military & Veterans Services, LLC to serve as the TRICARE provider for the South Region. This decision comes at the completion of a process that has gone on for well over a year.

After a Wednesday debriefing from the TRICARE Management Activity, TriServ will review all available information and likely file a formal bid protest with the government in an effort to reverse the Defense Department's decision.
"It is difficult to understand the logic of the process that brought the Department of Defense to this conclusion."
