Tulsa, OK Chevy Dealership Happy to see Trailer Sway Control Standard on Silverados 2013 Chevy Silverados will now come equipment standard with Trailer Sway Control
TULSA, Okla., Nov. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Jim Norton Chevy, a Tulsa Chevy dealership, is excited to have recently received word that, effective immediately, every 2013 Chevrolet Silverado produced will now come standard with StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with trailer sway control.
Trailer Sway Control works by using an angle sensor, that's located in the steering column, to gauge driver's intended rotational movement around the axis of the vehicle-which determines the vehicle's direction. In the event of a 'sway,' the aforementioned angle sensor senses the driver's rotational movement and sends a signal to the Silverado's Integrated Trailer Brake Control.
Maria Rohrer, Chevrolet Truck's Director of Marketing & Strategy, talked about what this means from Silverado trucks from here on out, stating that, "Silverado owners can rest assured that their trucks were built with their safety in mind and can tow with extra confidence thanks to trailer sway control which is always at the ready. Trailer sway control is just one more way Silverado helps you stay prepared for whatever life throws at you."
