Ulrika Ekman Joins Greenhill & Co. as Managing Director and General Counsel

    NEW YORK, May 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Greenhill & Co., Inc.
 (NYSE:   GHL), a leading independent investment banking firm, announced today
 that Ulrika Ekman has joined the firm as a Managing Director and General
 Counsel.
     Ms. Ekman joins Greenhill from Davis Polk & Wardwell where she was a
 partner and a member of the Corporate Department.  In her 14-year career at
 Davis Polk, Ms. Ekman represented numerous corporate clients and worked on
 many important domestic and international merger and acquisition transactions.

 served on the Corporation Law Committee of the Association of the Bar of the
 City of New York.
