UNIQLO Announces Spring 2007 'Designer Invitation Project' Participants
UNIQLO Signs Fashion's Brightest from Tokyo to New York to Design Capsule
Collections for Spring 2007

NEW YORK, Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- UNIQLO announced today the Spring
2007 participants of their "Designer Invitation Project," continuing the
endeavor that will launch this Fall in conjunction with the opening of the
Japanese retailer's new 36,000 square foot global flagship store in New
York's SoHo neighborhood on November 10th. Each designer's limited edition
capsule collection, of which there will be five women's and three men's,
will be designed exclusively for UNIQLO and will be available at UNIQLO
stores worldwide.
UNIQLO will feature the women's collection from Lutz & Patmos during
the month of February, followed by Japanese designer HALB's men's
collection and the women's collection from the Japanese designer Kino in
March. Alice Roi's women's and Cloak's designer Alexander Plokhov's men's
collections for UNIQLO will be available at the flagship store in April. In
May, UNIQLO will offer the women's capsule collection of 3.1 phillip lim as
well as the men's collection from Japanese designer Satoru Tanaka. Rounding
out the Spring 2007 portion of UNIQLO's "Designer Invitation Project" will
be the women's collection from the Japanese brand GVGV in June.
