United Airlines' Mileage Plus Program Celebrates 25 Years by Offering Merchandise Rewards for Elite Members Mileage Plus Merchandise Rewards Available to All Elite Members Through

    CHICAGO, March 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Beginning today, United's most
 valued Mileage Plus(R) members have even more opportunities to redeem frequent
 flyer miles with a new class of rewards:  high-end merchandise.  Part of
 United's continuous improvement of the customer experience, Mileage Plus
 Merchandise Rewards* expands mileage rewards beyond flights, hotel stays,
 dining certificates, car rentals and auction experiences, to shopping for
 brand-name merchandise online.  The program is available now through
 December 31, 2006, exclusively to 1K, Premier Executive, Premier and Premier
 Associate members of Mileage Plus.
     Customers now may redeem miles at http://www.united.com/mileageplusrewards
 for premium merchandise such as Coach sunglasses, Callaway Heavenwood clubs,
 Boston Acoustics HD radios, Canon digital cameras, Hartman 3-piece luggage
 sets or Toshiba 27" Integrated HD-DVD Combo LCD televisions.
