Universal Technical Institute Clarifies 2013 Outlook

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Nov. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Universal Technical Institute, Inc. (NYSE: UTI, "the Company"), the leading provider of automotive technician training, stated earlier today on a conference call and in a press release, that it expected 2013 new student starts for the first half of the year to be flat to slightly down before possibly improving during the second half, resulting in full year new student starts to be close to flat year over year.

The Form 10-K, which has been filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, accurately states that the Company currently expects 2013 new student starts for the first half of the year to be down before possibly improving during the second half resulting in full year new student starts to be close to flat year over year.
