SIMI VALLEY, Calif., Aug. 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Congressman Steve Knight, representing California's 25th district, visited and toured the Meggitt Control Systems facilities in Simi Valley on July 31.
For the newly elected Congressman, who sits on the House Armed Services Committee, it was the first visit to the location which also serves as the U.S. headquarters for parent company, London-based Meggitt PLC. The Congressman also serves in the House committees for Space Science and Technology and Small Business.

The 272,000-sq.-ft., three-building Meggitt campus employs some 550 people and represents approximately $200 million in annual revenue. It houses the division's executive team and functional leadership for engineering, administration, manufacturing, and sales and marketing as well as its production operations.
