Secretary Chu to tour facility with Southern Company executives

ATLANTA, Feb. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Dr. Steven Chu will join Southern Company CEO Thomas A. Fanning and Georgia Power CEO W. Paul Bowers Wednesday, Feb. 15, for a tour of Vogtle units 3 and 4, the first new nuclear units under construction in the U.S. in a generation.  Dr. Chu will deliver remarks highlighting the Administration's support for nuclear energy in a speech at the site.
