WASHINGTON, Jan. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U.S.-Libya Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the formal appointment of Richard H Griffiths in the role as Vice President, Director of International Affairs.

The U.S. Chamber has granted its full support to the establishment of the USLCC as it believes that the Chamber should begin its important work in a timely manner and provide the requisite support to U.S. business looking to invest in Libya.

The U.S.-Libya Chamber of Commerce will have its initial base of operations in New York City and will soon be transitioning to offices in Tripoli, Libya. Mr. Griffiths will assume his responsibilities immediately.
