Valley Businesses Shedding Their Suits to Go Casual for a Cause
With the economy in its present state and many companies having to reduce corporate giving, Casual for a Cause is a perfect way for valley businesses to make an impact in the community without affecting budgets. Employees participate by making individual donations to UCP in exchange for being able to dress casually on their company's designated day, earn incentives such as official Casual bears and tee shirts, and earn chances to win valuable prizes. Of course, it is up to participating companies to decide if they'd like to offer their employees additional incentives such as a matching contribution program, social events, or other ideas not even thought of before to motivate employees. The great thing about this event is that the possibilities are endless and each company can decided at what level they want to participate.
If you'd like more information on how your company can get involved in going Casual for a Cause this summer, please contact UCP's Development Department at (602) 943-5472 or jkabrud@ucpofaz.org.
UCP is one of the nation's largest 501(c)3 health charities. Since 1952, UCP of Central Arizona has assisted countless individuals with disabilities and their families. Those served have disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down syndrome, developmental delays, and learning disabilities.
