The 3.6 release of the VShell(R) server adds ability to limit user access to SSH2 commands and services through the public key. New VanDyke ClientPack 6.5 release with VRALib for scripting Secure Shell connections.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- VShell 3.6 server from VanDyke Software®, Inc. helps organizations transfer files and secure data with fine-grained access control and configuration options. The 3.6 release announced today provides new controls over user access to commands and subsystems through public key "private use" headers.

The VRALib API provides quick access to a variety of functions including controlling SSH2 connections, sending SSH2 commands and collecting output, performing SFTP file transfer and remote file management, setting up tunnels to encrypt TCP traffic, adding host keys to the host key database, and adding keys to the SSH2 authentication agent.
