Veracity Worldwide Expands Management Team in London
NEW YORK, Sept. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Veracity Worldwide, a leading strategic risk advisory firm focused on emerging markets, is pleased to announce the addition of David Handley CMG and Alistair Cooper to the management team in the London office. David Handley will join the firm in October as a Managing Director. Alistair Cooper will join the firm in September as a Director. The team will oversee Veracity's client management and business development efforts in Europe.

Until August 2012, David Handley served as the Head of Group Strategic Analysis for Britain's leading defense company, BAE Systems. In that role, he tracked international defense politics, monitored the changing military, security, and threat environment, and produced world-class analysis and assessment on the global challenges facing the defense industry. Prior to his work at BAE, David served in the British Secret Intelligence Service (SIS) for 27 years, with postings in Lebanon, Hungary, Guatemala, and Egypt, the latter during the first Gulf War of 1991. Thereafter, he held a number of senior management positions in London and was awarded the Companion of the Order of St. Michael and St. George (CMG) in 2000. He received a joint honors degree in politics and economics from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. David is proficient in Spanish, French, and Arabic, with knowledge of Hungarian and German.
Alistair Cooper has extensive experience in the investment industry, having worked in hedge fund financing for a leading investment banking firm in New York, where he performed due diligence on prospective investors and managed risk associated with customer portfolios. He spent much of the last decade building, advising, and operating businesses in Asia and Africa, most recently establishing a network of outsourcing operations in Ukraine, India, and the Philippines. Alistair was a Morehead Scholar at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, from which he earned a BA degree in political science and history. He speaks French and German.
