DALLAS, June 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- As an extension of Small Business Week and to celebrate "Mighty Small" businesses from coast-to-coast, Verizon is giving small businesses an opportunity to win a complete technology makeover. Four small businesses from across the country will be awarded a customized technology package for their business later this summer.
"Using the hash tag #MightySmall, customers and small business fans alike can nominate, vote and track via social media their favorite small business from one of four national regions," said Robyn Parks, associate director, marketing in Central Texas. "The winning businesses will experience first-hand how technology can help them grow and expand in today's virtual marketplace."
The campaign entitled "Be Small. Think Mighty. For Best Results Use Verizon" was conceived to celebrate hard-working small business owners nationwide looking to take their business to the next level of success. Twelve finalists will be announced on July 15. Final public voting concludes on July 19 with four winning businesses named on or about July 22. The four businesses will each receive a comprehensive technology solution, set-up by a Verizon Small Business consultant, exposure in a video series that will document the winner's technology makeovers, and more.
