Verizon Foundation President Rose Stuckey Kirk Among Female Leaders Honored at 14th Annual '25 Influential Black Women In Business' Awards Luncheon

NEW YORK, March 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Network Journal today honored Rose Stuckey Kirk, president of the Verizon Foundation, and the other women named to the publication's 2012 list of 25 Influential Black Women in Business.  The honorees were recognized at the Journal's 14th anniversary luncheon, held in conjunction with Women's History Month 

Kathryn C. Brown, senior vice president of public policy and corporate responsibility for Verizon, said: "We are very proud of Rose and the significant contributions she has made throughout her career. Kirk has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and has served in senior leadership roles in public affairs, sales operations, employee communications, sales and customer service, marketing, product development, strategy, advertising, and executive speechwriting.
