The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service honor the achievements of sales, business development, customer service and call/contact center professionals worldwide. Hathaway is recognized for being among the first point of contacts for customers with the Verne Global data center and for leading the development and implementation of top procedures and initiatives.

Given the unique location of Verne's data center, the need for high quality, first-class customer service is crucial to customer satisfaction.  Hathaway was instrumental in developing the processes and reporting that takes place between the client and the facility during and after an installation.  As security is vital to all data center operations, Hathaway played a key role in designing the nine challenge points within and around the facility as well as other stringent security procedures.  He also played a central role in securing the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 certification for information security, showcasing Verne's commitment and ability to protect the confidentiality and availability of customer data.
