Veteran Interior Designer Launches New Blog, I Heart My Room, Aimed Towards Younger Audience

NEW YORK, Sept. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- New York based Interior Designer Doryn Wallach is making waves in the online world of DIY design.  A Fashion Institute of Technology graduate and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition alum, Wallach is now launching a new blog entitled, I Heart My Room – Inspiring Your Space, which focuses on DIY tips, inspiration ideas and resources for a younger audience.

I Heart My Room – Inspiring Your Space will be a colorful source of decorating tips for young audiences, tweens to young adult.   Wallach will be showcasing designs and ideas for the bedroom, dorm room, and first apartment, with the goal to stimulate the creative minds of young design enthusiasts.

Each week I Heart My Room – Inspiring Your Space will have features such as, I Heart My Bedroom, I Heart My Dorm Room, I Heart My Apartment, I Heart Organizing, I Heart DIY Ideas, and more.  The blog will also feature a Virtual Interior Design service where members can receive a design consultation via Skype or an inspired room design via Polyvore. 

Wallach, branding herself in a new arena of design, draws inspiration directly from her young audience through studying fashion & design trends on the streets on New York City and on online blogs and magazines:
