HANOI, Vietnam, Aug. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Viettel, one of the world's fastest growing telecom operators, today announced that it will consolidate its commitment on fostering education globally as part of its business strategy for sustainable development. To further its global focus on education, Viettel has exclusively sponsored the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship 2015 (MOSWC), supporting young talents across the world with gaining experience and certification in technology skills. The competition was held between 9 and 12 August 2015 in Texas, USA, and it reflects the Viettel group's core business strategy for sustainable development as it expands its global footprint.
"At Viettel, we are committed to supporting education and enhancing opportunities for youth to help them connect to the world for a brighter future. We are proud to be a partner at MOSWC 2015, as this helps us make a difference to youth globally, reduce the skills gap, and promote equal educational opportunities for all, which is a strong priority for us," said Tong Viet Trung, deputy general director of Viettel, who recently expressed a vision for Viettel to become one of the top 10 largest telecommunications companies in the world by 2020.
