Agreement strengthens ViewCast's position as streaming media leader in Iberia

PLANO, Texas, May 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ViewCast Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: VCST), a developer of industry-leading hardware and software for the transformation, management and delivery of professional quality video over IP and mobile networks, today announced that Ambient Media, a distributor focused exclusively on audio-visual technology and solutions, is now an authorized distributor/importer of ViewCast products in Spain and Portugal. Under the terms of the agreement, Ambient Media will serve as a key source on the Iberian Peninsula for ViewCast's comprehensive portfolio of products, including the award-winning Osprey(R) video capture cards and Niagara(R) encoding systems, together with post-sales service and support.
