LOS ANGELES and OTTAWA, Ontario, Dec. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Rullingnet Corporation, home of VINCI Early Learning Systems, announced today that it has signed an agreement with The Early Learning Department of Shanghai Education Bureau, China, to develop and implement VINCI Classroom Intelligence among Shanghai's 1400 government operated kindergartens where children ages three to six years old follow a standard play-based curriculum before beginning primary school.
VINCI Classroom Intelligence combines cloud computing, tablet technology and data mining to collect real time data about each child's learning status. The server processes collected data and reports back in real time to the classroom teacher, giving the teacher full insight into the effectiveness of the lesson, as well as the degree of understanding by each child. Strengths and weaknesses are identified and a series of recommendations is given to the teacher for each child.
In the second phase, VINCI Classroom Intelligence will also connect with parents' mobile devices to link the education in the classroom with their home activities.
"We are so proud to have such a great opportunity to make a difference in so many young children's lives," said Dr. Dan D. Yang, Creator of VINCI and CEO of Rullingnet Corporation. "Every child deserves the chance to excel and every teacher deserves the best tools to help make that happen."
Traditionally, due to the size of the classroom, teachers only have time to determine if a child's answer is right or wrong. VINCI Classroom Intelligence brings a whole new degree of possibility to help teachers understand why a child's answer to a question is right or wrong, and most importantly, what needs to be done to ensure each child fully grasps the concepts and skills being taught.
Rullingnet has filed multiple patents to protect its innovation and is introducing VINCI Classroom Intelligence in North America with pilot runs planned in schools in California and the province of Quebec, Canada.
VINCI was created as a new category of fun learning tools with the goal to engage, empower and educate children. By using a scaffolding teaching method designed by developmental psychologists and education experts, educators encourage children's curiosity with play based learning program at home or in school. VINCI Curriculum, the step by step digital learning program designed for preschool and kindergarten children was recently honored by CES 2013 Innovation Award.
