The hotel occupies an original 1930's Art Deco building located in the heart of the city's fashionable Historic District. Featuring direct beach access, a private swimming pool, and a rooftop COMO Shambhala Urban Escape spa with a COMO Shambhala juice bar, the Metropolitan is a haven of relaxation among the buzzing Miami scene. The spa has four treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy pool and an outdoor yoga terrace with views of the city and Atlantic Ocean.

It will also be home to the Traymore Restaurant, with dishes featuring local seafood and a range of classic American and Mediterranean dishes, as well as the Traymore Bar, home to Miami Beach's first Gin Club serving a wide variety of artisanal cocktails. Poolside cabanas are also available exclusively for hotel guests to dine among the palm trees at the pool's edge. Also available for breakfast, the COMO Shambhala Cuisine menu sources organic local produce and features dishes that are rich in living enzymes, vitamins and minerals.
