A Weatherproof® Clunker program

As "Cash for Clunkers" gave the consumer money back for their used cars to stimulate the economy, "Coats for Clunkers" gives the consumer $100 towards the purchase of a new coat when donating a used coat to New York Cares.

Three days of "Coats for Clunkers"

Coats will be collected and $100 rebate coupons given out at Penn Station in the Amtrak rotunda from Monday, December 14 through Wednesday, December 16 from 7:30 am to 9:30 am.

Weatherproof® launches "Coats for Clunkers" website

$100 voucher can be applied to coats at www.coatsforclunkers.com; Recipients can choose from three men's and three women's styles.

Weatherproof® three tiered participation

Weatherproof® will donate 100 new men's coats in support of the launch of the 21st Annual New York Cares Coat Drive on December 1st. The coats will be distributed to the Bowery Mission, an organization serving homeless and hungry New Yorkers. In addition, the company will donate a whopping 6,000 new coats to the Coat Drive to help New Yorkers in need this winter.

Weatherproof® advertises "Coats for Clunkers"

The "Coats for Clunkers" campaign will be advertised all over New York City in magazines, newspapers, outdoor billboards, subway panels and telephone kiosks.
