Well-known CMO Leaves Client World to Launch New Agency

NEW YORK, July 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Christian McMahan, former Chief Marketing Officer of Heineken USA, announced today that he has left the client world to launch Smartfish Group.  Effective immediately, Mr. McMahan becomes Managing Partner of Smartfish Group, a merger of two Boston-based marketing agencies: Jackrabbit Design and DotGain Solutions.

Smartfish will retain their two Massachusetts locations and will also add a third office in the NYC region where Mr. McMahan will be based

The formation of the new agency was decades in the making, gaining its roots in the dorms of the University of Massachusetts Amherst which McMahan attended along with DotGain Solutions founders Jim Coveno and David Matthy.
