Welling Resources Announces Latest Results of Permian Basin Development

FORT WORTH, Texas, Feb. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Welling Resources announced today the latest results from the Hawkins #4 well in Coleman County, TX. The Hawkins #4 was drilled to a total depth of 3,262' ft. on Friday, February 1st.

"We are excited about the #4 well which is further solidifying the trend  and confirming our structure. We had about 10' ft. of gross pay in the Morris sand and are looking forward to completing the well shortly," said H. Deke Welling , President of Welling Resources.

This well marks the second straight well hit on the Hawkins lease and the twelfth well hit in the trend. Welling Resources plans to assist in the continuation of the development moving onto the South Hawkins lease later this year.
