The Werner Fire Escape Ladder helps consumers safely escape faster than the other ladders on the market. A compact, permanent escape ladder, recessed into the interior wall space beneath a second or third story window, the Werner Fire Escape Ladder is always there and always ready in case of an emergency. It is designed with safety in mind, easy to use features, and at a price that is significantly more affordable than other similar products on the market.

One of the biggest benefits of the Werner Fire Escape Ladder is the ability to repack and reuse the ladder for escape drills. Also, it can support up to 1,500 lbs. allowing multiple family members to escape a fire at the same time, and firefighters in full gear to perform rescues when seconds count.

It will be exclusively available online in limited quantities at select retailers at an introductory price of $99 for a 2 story model, and $139 for a 3 story model. A full scale launch at retail locations is planned for 2010.
