Westfield Santa Anita Announces Highly Anticipated Retailers Opening Fall and Winter 2006

ARCADIA, Calif., Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- An exciting line-up of new
retailers are joining Westfield Santa Anita as part of the center's ongoing
pledge to deliver unmatched, something-for-everyone shopping, including
unique and stylish retail stores opening through Fall and Winter 2006. New
arrivals include children's stores, such as recently opened Pumpkin Patch,
overflowing with 'seriously fun' clothing, and Janie and Jack, opened
September 14, featuring "precious little baby things." Westfield Santa
Anita will also welcome cutting-edge, contemporary fashion for men and
women with shops such as Marciano, a new concept from GUESS with
runway-inspired attire designed specifically for fashion-forward women,
opening in early October, and the highly anticipated H&M, one of the
world's leading fashion retailers and the go-to store for the season's
hottest fashion trends across the globe. H&M will open the doors of its
third Los Angeles-area location at Westfield Santa Anita this November.
With new fashions arriving in stores every day, L.A. shoppers will always
be surprised by the fresh selection of merchandise. The Westfield Santa
Anita location will carry fashions for ladies, men and teens, as well as
H&M's signature lingerie department.

New retailers to open during Fall 2006, include:
* Janie and Jack -- a specialized retailer providing "precious little
baby things" for newborns and toddlers. All of Janie and Jack's
collections feature the finest craftsmanship in addition to vintage
fabrics and hand-embroidery to create timeless heirlooms for little
ones.
* H&M -- Hennes & Mauritz, one of the world's leading fashion retailers,
has been the go-to store for the season's hottest fashion trends across
the globe, proving that design is no longer a question of price. H&M's
own designers and buyers create the company's trendy and affordable
collections, offering a wide range of clothing -- everything from
fashion basics to the latest "must haves."
* Marciano -- the first brand extension from Guess Inc. will be
opening this fall at Westfield Santa Anita. This specialty store
markets a runway inspired clothing line for today's contemporary "it
girl" combining glamour with everyday fashion. They will offer a
variety of women's apparel, handbags, footwear and jewelry.
* Pumpkin Patch -- with nine retail stores in the United States, Pumpkin
Patch has planted its latest seed at Westfield Santa Anita. Carrying
product encompassing babywear to kidswear and even items for modern,
fashion forward moms-to-be, Pumpkin Patch is one-stop shopping for
distinctive, fashionable clothing.
As part of Westfield Santa Anita's ongoing revitalization, even more
fashion forward, upscale retailers have committed to joining the new
sophisticated outdoor shopping "Promenade" precinct slated to open in
Summer 2008. These popular, sought after retailers will be set outdoors
surrounded by lush landscaping, comfortable seating, water features and
locally inspired architecture and will include shops such as Banana
Republic, designed to make sophisticated fashion collections more
accessible; Coldwater Creek, a one-stop-shop for the professional woman
with little time and a sense of discovery; Lucky Brand Jeans, rooted in Los
Angeles and known for innovative, quality denim and clothing for the
youthful and courageous; and Swoozie's, opening its first location in
California, was established on the basis of "celebration" and will carry
the largest selection of designer invitations in the country, covering all
occasions.
Additional retailers for the outdoor Promenade at Westfield Santa Anita
include Ann Taylor Loft, Chico's, J. Jill, Jos. A. Bank, Talbot's and White
House/Black Market.
New retailers to open in Summer 2008, include:
* Ann Taylor Loft -- fashion-forward collection for women seen time after
time in the pages of fashion magazines such as Glamour and Marie Claire
* Banana Republic -- designed to make sophisticated fashion collections
more accessible for men and women
* Coldwater Creek -- a one-stop-shop for the professional woman with
little time and a sense of discovery
* Chico's -- exclusively designed, private-label women's clothing and
related accessories with the touch of amazing service
* J. Jill -- seeks to connect elements of comfort and style with a
variety of sophisticated casual lifestyle clothing for women
* Jos. A. Bank -- an extensive selection of beautifully made, classically
styled tailored and causal clothing for men
* Swoozie's -- opening its first location in California, is a unique
store established on the basis of "celebration" with the largest
selection of designer invitations in the country, covering all
occasions
* Talbot's -- a specialty retailer of classic women's apparel and
accessories for "head-to-toe" wardrobing
* White House/Black Market -- a specialty retailer of exclusively
designed, private label, sophisticated, casual-to-dressy clothing and
complimentary accessories for women
