WestJet offers up the chance to mingle with Oprah

Airline contests give Canadians a chance to have a once-in-a-lifetime "ah-ha" moment

CALGARY, Dec. 4, 2012 /CNW/ - WestJet today announced Canadians can win a chance to see Oprah live in Calgary on January 22, 2013, courtesy of WestJet. Facebook users and WestJet Rewards members can enter to win one of six prizes - including two VIP grand prizes where winners will attend a special reception and photo opportunity with Oprah herself.

Starting today, Facebook users who "Like" the WestJet Facebook page can access the airline's official page where they can enter to win one VIP grand prize that includes a private reception and photo opportunity with Oprah, round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations for two and two VIP tickets to see an "Evening with Oprah" in Calgary. Four additional Facebook winners will receive two premium tickets to see the show with round-trip airfare and two nights' accommodation. Fans can enter daily until the contest closes on December 14, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. MT. Winners will be selected on December 17, 2012.

WestJet Rewards members will receive an invitation to enter their name to win a second VIP grand prize. Those who are not yet WestJet Rewards members can sign up by December 14 to be sent an invitation to enter to win.
