CALGARY, Dec. 20, 2012 /CNW/ - WestJet today announced the completion of its second corporate social responsibility report, the first using the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework to report on economic, environmental and social performance.

"Building off last year's 'Responsible Growth' report, we have made the commitment to further our reporting on the socially responsible elements of our airline. I would like to extend a warm thanks to the more than 9,000 WestJetters who deliver our caring brand in all aspects of our business."
